On October 23, 1982, Cochise County, Arizona law enforcement Sheriff’s deputies attempted to serve three arrest warrants at the Christ Miracle Healing Center and Church, the headquarters of a cult that had its origins in Mississippi.
On October 23, 1983, 241 US servicemen (220 Marines of 1st Battalion 8th Marines Regiment, 18 US Navy sailors, and three US Army soldiers) were killed when a truck bomb was driven into the building where the men were quartered.
On Monday, October 23, 2017, crime comedy fans had their chance to be among the first in Cleveland to see Suburbicon before it opened in theaters on October 27, 2017.
