“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

A Brief History On January 21, 2019, the citizens of the United States of America celebrate another national holiday, this one in remembrance of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., an icon of the Civil Rights Movement.  Unfortunately, not everyone has honored Reverend King’s legacy in a commendable way this past month.  Yet, those who have disrespected Reverend King are but some of our fellow citizens who have disappointed our society in various ways in January 2019.  Although we have nearly a third of the month of January yet to go, we feel compelled to list “Jerks of the Month”…

A Brief History On October 28, 2018, we have such deserving jerks, idiots, creeps and scumbags that we just cannot wait until the end of the month!  These people are so bad, we have to “honor” them right now.  Hopefully there will not be any other total goofs in the next couple days, but if there are, we will amend our list by adding them as well later.  As always, if you think someone was wrongly listed here, please tell us and be sure to specify whey you think that way.  If we overlooked any truly deserving jerks, let us…

A Brief History On August 4, 1920, in Winchester, Kentucky, Helen Amelia Thomas was born, a woman that would go on to the top of her profession as a White House journalist for UPI and then Hearst Newspapers. Highly esteemed, Thomas made remarks in 2010 pilloried in the press as being anti-Semitic. Her long and illustrious career now in tatters, Thomas retired from Hearst and died in 2013 at the age of 92, no longer famous as a journalist, but instead infamous as an anti-Semite. Numerous public persons have ruined their standing with the public by making seemingly racist comments,…

The police robot was a type used by bomb disposal units and carried a 1 pound block of C-4 explosive in its extended robotic arm. Despite the bomb exploding as…

A Brief History On June 30, 2018, it is once again our sad duty to report the Jerks and our glad duty to report the Heroes of the Month. These jerks may not be lifelong career jerks, they might just have had a moment’s weakness or failure of their moral compass. Or of course, they might be jerks all the time. You decide! The heroes may be someone that is not normally heroic, but deserves mention for a specific deed. The jerks and heroes we list have done something in June of 2018 or previously that became news in June of…
