    sending cakes

    A Brief History

Sending cakes to near and dear ones has now become a trend. And many people are opting this gesture every day around the world. You may also be doing this in this hi-tech world, and it is great. Cakes never fail to win hearts with their taste and eye-catchy appearance. And cakes can be presented to our dear ones on every special occasion or to express the love of relations. There was a time when we used to carry cakes from the bakery shop to the home of that person we wanted to surprise. And that is the perfect thing to do even today.  Note: This post is sponsored by Bakingo.

    Digging Deeper

But what if we cannot visit our relatives and friends due to the distance of roads?

Does that mean we should stop sharing the love?

    No!

And that is what made sending the cakes online to friends and relatives a trend! While sending a delicious cake to treat their taste glands and tummy is good, sending a gift along with the cake is great. The recipient will enjoy the cake while feeling overwhelmed, staring at the gift.

There is no need to send expensive gifts if your budget does not allow you. Gifts are meant to tickle the heart, and it is far from the reach of price tag boundaries.

For your help and to give you an idea, here we are mentioning some gift items:

    Greeting Card

Words can heal a broken heart, and words can make you fall in love! For all those emotions that your heart is brimming with can be conveyed beautifully with a greeting card. Even though greeting cards are not the new gifting gesture, they are still the best and will always be.

    Small Teddy Bear

Teddy bears, the cute little companions make life a little more beautiful and good. Don’t they? Despite the age, everyone adores these cute little bears, the fluffy plush soft toys. You can effortlessly send Teddy Bear while sending cake through online cake delivery in Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore or any other major city.

    Chocolate Box

The cake will stay there for a day or two at maximum in the recipient’s fridge, but chocolates will be there for weeks. Every time the recipient will have a bite of chocolate, he/she will keep on remembering you. And by that, you will be sending a treatful combo.

    Plants

This one is the gift of health and your concern for the person. Sending an indoor plant along with the cake makes a unique combo that the receiver will cherish for life. While the cake will satisfy his/her sweet cravings, the indoor plant will lift the home decor and will render many health benefits.

    Message Scroll

You may be sending the cake, and you have asked the bakery to write something on it too, but still, you can’t express all the feelings of your heart. So, send a Message scroll having your lovely words on it. Let the recipient know that he/she is that special one to you.

That is not all folks! You can send many whatever you want to! That was just to give you an idea.

Question for students (and subscribers): Have you ever sent a cake to someone with a gift?  Please let us know in the comments section below this article.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
