On April 14, 1561, numerous Germans witnessed what they described as an aerial battle over Nuremberg, Germany.
On April 14, 1772, the building tension toward open rebellion of Americans against the British erupted in New Hampshire in an incident known as The Pine Tree Riot.
On April 14, 1775, Benjamin Franklin along with Benjamin Rush founded the first abolitionist society in the US, The Society For the Relief of Free Negroes Unlawfully Held in Bondage.
On April 14, 1775, Benjamin Franklin, inventor, statesman, scientist, musician, publisher and Most Interesting Man in the World co-founded the first Abolitionist society in what would soon become the United States, an event we used to name him as The Most Interesting Man in the World.
On April 14, 1986, the Gopalganj district of Bangladesh experienced the largest hailstones ever recorded, with an incredible weight of 1 kilogram for a single hailstone!
On April 14, 1994, the US Air Force proved once again that there is no such thing as “friendly fire!”
On April 14, 2019, Eldrick “Tiger” Woods just pulled off a come from behind victory in the fabled Masters golf tournament, the first come from behind win in his illustrious career of destroying opponents in major tournaments.
On April 14, 2021, Dr. Zar wrote a general message to everyone who has been sending or intends to send him messages requesting to contribute guest or sponsored articles on this site or to have links inserted into existing articles.
On April 14, 2023, the European Space Agency launched a spacecraft to explore the Moons of Jupiter, aptly naming the craft JUICE, an acronym for “Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer.”
