Today, I wish a Happy Birthday to any of my friends, students, and subscribers who were born on April 15th.

Some notable historical figures who were born on April 15th include Italian polymath Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519), Empress Catherine I of Russia (1684–1727), the American-British author of the ghost story titled The Turn of the Screw Henry James (1843–1916), French sociologist Émile Durkheim (1858–1917), American actress and star of Bewitched Elizabeth Montgomery (1933–1995), the English actress best known for portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series Emma Watson (born 1990), and the English actress best known for portraying Arya Stark on Game of Thrones Maisie Williams (born 1997).
