On April 6, 1888, Thomas Green Clemson died, leaving his fortune for the establishment of The Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina, the college that became Clemson University.
On April 6, 1941, German forces commenced the invasions of Greece and Yugoslavia.
On April 6, 1970, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) traffic stop turned deadly when two CHP officers stopped a car containing two criminals and those two officers were killed in the shootout.
On April 6, 2011, the second San Fernando mass killings incident was discovered.
On April 6, 2011, Mexican law enforcement authorities dug up 59 bodies of innocent people murdered by the Los Zetas drug cartel, and before they were done by June had dug up a total of 193 bodies!
On April 6, 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump had a busy schedule, participating in a Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride event in the East Room, receiving his daily intelligence briefing in the Oval Office, leaving the White House en route to Mar-a-Lago, arriving in West Palm Beach, Florida, and having dinner at Mar-a-Lago with China’s President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan.
On April 6, 2017, President Trump ordered an attack against Shayrat Airbase in Syria.
On April 6, 2018, we eagerly awaited the 2018 version of the premier event in professional Football/Soccer, The World Cup!
On April 6, 2018, a bus carrying a junior hockey team, the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, crashed into a semi-tractor trailer near Armley, Saskatchewan, leaving 10 members of the team dead and also killing an additional 6 persons.
On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, teen comedy fans had their chance to be among the first in Cleveland, Ohio to see Metal Lords starting at 6PM ET!
