    A Brief History

Psychological horror-thriller film fans, here is your chance to be among the first in Cleveland, Ohio to see Unsane on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Cinemark at Valley View in Valley View, Ohio!  Please RSVP to togcleversvp@gmail.com to receive further details and a pass.  Passes are limited and seating is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed.  Please arrive early to increase chance of entry.

    Digging Deeper

In Unsane, Sawyer Valentini, a bright but troubled business woman, begins to find out that her past is catching up to her when an estranged boyfriend she once dated starts to stalk her.  To ensure her safety, Sawyer signs up for a support group that helps people tackle stalking problems.  Unfortunately, Sawyer finds out that she has involuntarily placed herself in a mental institution with strict rules that there should be no contact with the outside world.  Alone and trapped against her will, Sawyer must fight her own demons within the twisted asylum as the visions of her stalker begin to take over.

Directed, shot and edited by Steven Soderbergh, and written by Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer, the film stars Claire Foy as Sawyer Valentini; Joshua Leonard as David Strine, Sawyer’s ex, whom she believes is stalking her; Jay Pharoah as Nate Hoffman, Sawyer’s old friend; Juno Temple as Violet, a patient of the mental institution; Aimee Mullins as Ashley Brighterhouse; and Amy Irving as Angela Valentini, Sawyer’s sister.

The film will be released in the United States on March 23, 2018.
