    Supernatural horror fans, here is your chance to be among the first in Cleveland, Ohio to see Insidious: The Last Key on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Atlas Eastgate in Mayfield Heights, Ohio!  Please visit https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdVoTvcKMfrFXKkIIZCrHbJEn6TJUpfV2Jjkqv_mpNDgc-9Eg/viewform for the chance to win a pass.  Winners will receive an email by 6 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 notifying them that their name will be placed on a guest list at the door.  This invitation is good for the winner and one guest.  Seating is first-come, first-served and is not guaranteed – even if your name is on the guest list. You must be with your guest to enter. Saving seats for other parties is prohibited.

    Digging Deeper

    In Insidious: The Last Key, the fourth installment in the Insidious franchise and the second in terms of the series’s in-story chronology, brilliant parapsychologist Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) receives a disturbing phone call from a man who claims that his house is haunted.  Even more disturbing is the address — 413 Apple Tree Lane in Five Keys, N.M. — the home where Elise grew up as a child.  Accompanied by her two investigative partners, Rainier travels to Five Keys to confront and destroy her greatest fear — the demon that she accidentally set free years earlier.

    Insidious: The Last Key will be in theaters nationwide starting on January 5, 2018.

    JCU Paranormal Research Group

    The John Carroll Paranormal Research Group is a student organization that seeks to find out more about the paranormal while being academically intent and focusing on establishing credibility. Founded in the Fall of 2013 by Eugene Claridge and Raymond Camma, the BooStreaks have held many informative meetings that have included guest speakers, such as Dr. Judith Cetina and Bill Kreji, who appeared on Ghost Hunters in 2009. The group has worked with the Ohio P.I.R.A.T.E.S., a paranormal team out of Akron, Ohio, to learn some of their methods and to hear about their work. The Paranormal Research Group has conducted investigations in the following locations: the Cleveland Agora Theatre, the Ohio State Reformatory, the Russell Rhodes Mansion (a.k.a. the Cuyahoga County Archives), and the Sandy Chanty Seafood Restaurant. John Carroll University has recognized the group both in the Carroll News and most importantly, as the "Outstanding Organization of the Year." Not only has the group been able to explore the paranormal subject and investigated historically important locations in Ohio, but members had the fortunate opportunity to see advance screenings of major motion pictures that feature the paranormal, particularly The Quiet Ones (2013).
