Digging Deeper  

A pulse pounding crime thriller with a sci-fi twist, Kin is the story of an unexpected hero destined for greatness. Chased by a vengeful criminal, the Feds, and a gang of other worldly soldiers, a recently released ex-con and his adopted teenage brother are forced to go on the run with a weapon of mysterious origin as their only protection.

Based on the 2014 short film Bag Man, Kin is directed by Jonathan and Josh Baker and stars Jack Reynor as Jimmy Solinski, Eli’s brother, Hal’s son and Milly’s boyfriend; Zoë Kravitz as Milly, Jimmy’s girlfriend; Carrie Coon as Morgan Fields, an FBI agent; Dennis Quaid as Hal Solinski, Jimmy and Eli’s father; James Franco as Taylor Bolek, a crime lord; and Myles Truitt as Elijah Solinski, Jimmy’s brother and Hal’s son.

The film will be released in the United States on August 31, 2018.
